The Repair Kits are repair components engineered to restore broken or missing tabs and posts on the iconic USS FLAGG aircraft carrier. Kits are available for the Elevator Trusses, Main Truss, “B” Truss, “C” Truss, and the Secondary Truss.  Designed to repair and return the FLAGG to display-ready condition without altering its original look. I see mixed reviews on using Hydrogen Peroxide to restore the Flagg as well as action figures.  Most people recommend the SalonCare product and it has 12% Hydrogen Peroxide.  I use 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and have had great results.  The UV Protectant is an additional step to ensure the yellowing does not return.  I use large clear storage containers, fill them 3/4 full with water and pour in 1/2 gallon of the 3% Hydrogen Peroxide.  Leave the Flagg parts submerged in the solution and place the container outside in the sun.  I've had great results in 4-5 hours.  Check out the video tutorial that I found online.

Plastic Welding Repairs

Some Flagg pieces can be repaired with plastic welding.  I would recommend practicing on some other plastic pieces before attempting your first plastic weld on USS Flagg parts!  Make sure you wear a mask and only weld plastic in an open air environment (open the garage door).  Inhaling fumes from plastic can be extremely toxic.  There are also some plastic welding kits available on Amazon.
