USS Flagg Original Decal Files
Here are scans from my personal collection. These files might be helpful for creating your own decals in Photoshop.
There are three (3) "Aircraft Carrier Label Sheets." There are two (2) additional "Deck Runway Label Sheets." I currently don't have the "Deck Runway Label Sheets" to make scans, so I will add them when I can.

USS Flagg Custom Decals
Below are my decal files. I've included everything. There are PDFs for those who just want to print. I have PNGs for those who just want certain decals. I even included my Photoshop files for those who want to make even better improvements.
Ideas & Tools for Making Your Own Decals
Here is a quick look at some ideas to help you create your own custom decals. The discovery of the Adobe Capture app has been one of my favorite tools. It uses the camera on your phone and gives you the color codes for your graphics so that you can color match anything!

Font FilesHere are the fonts I use. "ARAH" is for G.I. JOE text. "Flagg 99" is for the "CVN 99" text.

"99" Deck Decal
![]()
|
The "99" Deck Decal is designed to print at the same size as the original. Using the font labeled "Flagg 99" from above, I created a printable decal for a letter-size glossy decal sheet. After you have covered with a self-laminate (see "Ideas for Decals" above), cut out the "9." Cut the left/right sides first (just inside the black guide line). Then cut the top/bottom of the "9." Align the decal for placement beginning at the bottom of the decal. Once you have the decal in place, cut the corners using your X-Acto knife and cork-backed ruler. Use a decal squeegee applicator to ensure no bubbles.
My goal is not to recreate the original, but to create an affordable DIY alternative. If you're looking for reproductions of the original decals, visit the links above to ToyHax and Rattler Repros. |

Monitor Decals (Set A)
These monitor sets can be printed and glued to black foam board to create additional monitors for the USS Flagg. These are also available with 3D printed black frame boxes under the "Custom Parts" section. These were designed to match the video system files on the touchscreen monitor (see "Video Files" section).
